Yes, we use LifePo4 batteries. These are specifically designed for caravans, and they have a host of safety measures and protections inbuilt to the Battery Management System of the battery. LifePo4 are not to be confused with Lithium-ion chemistry batteries most commonly found in cheap consumer electronics (power tools, e-scooters, e-bikes, phones)

Yes, lithium batteries can be installed inside the caravan however, the battery case or compartment must be sealed and vented externally to comply with AS3001.2.2022

Yes and no. Your old AGM batteries weigh about 25 kg each. We’ll be removing those and installing a high-capacity lithium battery that weighs around 55 kg. Although the new lithium battery is heavier, it provides 3–4 times more usable capacity, giving you significantly better performance overall.

We have seen our fare share of failures from these components; the last thing we want is to set you up with something that will fail. We remove these components and integrate the functions into the new systems.

We like playing Tetris with solar panels & usually we can fit much more solar than you think! Solar panels are strategically placed to maximize the roof solar array. Sometimes things like tv antennas & satellites hinder the ability to maximize the roof space. From the feedback we have had, most customers don’t use these anyway. We have designed specific laser cut blanking plates and covers to remove these from the roof on a case by case basis. If we cannot fit the required amount of solar to your roof, we will substitute with portable solar.

Unlike the dodgy guy down the road, our installs are different. We design and manufacture our own heavy duty aluminum Lithium Essentials solar panel brackets and wind deflectors. We also ensure that each solar panel is fixed and bonded securely into the caravan frame.

The standard inclusion for all of our systems is a 3000W-4500W Inverter. This will enable the use of the air conditioning as well as air fryers, Induction cooktops, hairdryers, Thermomix, washing machines, dishwashers and any other 240V appliances. In real world use this converts into using 2-3 of these appliances at once. If you wish to run more than this, we have upgraded inverters for the people who won’t compromise on performance.

All of our off-grid systems feature a fully integrated inverter-charger unit, this enables us to hook up 240V to all outlets and appliances, (such as the air conditioning) throughout the caravan.

There is heat generated from the components whilst in use, we keep the components cool with the use of venting and temperature controlled fans to ensure there is sufficient cooling and no excess heat

A full electrical system retrofit takes 7-10 business days, the reason for this is, every cable, crimp, component and connection is fitted with meticulous detail, we also run through a list of tests and checks on the new electrical installation before you receive your caravan back. This ensures you are receiving a reliable system for years to come.

They are collected by a solar panel recycling centre. They are then disassembled, stripped down and each component is recycled accordingly.

No Problem, we don’t just cater to full systems, We also take on smaller upgrades like solar setups, towing electrical, battery & other electrical upgrades.
